1. Voucher programs are not viable options for most lower SES groups (again not addressing equal opportunity in education). Charter schools require acceptance, which then is inextricably linked to the SES conditions the student was brought up in.. We need an education system based on access and opportunity, an egalitarian approach.. Not satisfied with your choices? Get educated on the true realities of education today, and then work to change what you don't agree with. Action is required.

4. So this guy sees more segregation than ever before–even including forced segregation, but then only advocates what the unions agree to? Like most of our public policy makers, he refuses to look at the alternatives of charter schools or vouchers programs. As long as we have such limited choices, this won't ever change.
