7. @TechGumbo, Hi… I was just wandering, you've done videos on the best "VPN's 2018" and the best "chrome extensions" but how about best VPN chrome extensions so a combination of both as a suggestion would really be appreciated as am not sure what best vpn extension would be. i know that there are extensions for premium such as "PIA" private internet access, Tunnel Bear to mentions few. So glad Youtube had recommended you in the feed. Thanks for the simplicity in your content. !!

9. Question… With Private Internet, I've noticed did not work in libraries in Florida. Also, regardless of where you log in from, some airlines are not letting you even look at their websites if you are using a VPN at least with Private Internet.

11. First.. great the video. Very well done. Now, a Nord VPN on a router question. I installed Nord VPN on my Mecool M8S Pro L android TV box. I ran a speed test on the box and I am losing the expected 10% +/-. No big deal. Yesterday I set up my Asus router with an OpenVPN to Nord. I ran a speed test and lost close to 90% of my speed. I thought perhaps it was a fluke, so I turned off the Nord connection and ran the speed test again. I got my 90% back. Activated the Nord connection again, ran the speed test, lost the 90% again. I've tried different servers with the same results. I don't understand why I loose so little on my android box yet so much via the router. Any ideas? I could really use some help. Thanks.

I have been farting around a bit with VPNs for 5 years and I tried TB which i dont have anymore after the mcafee sale but atleast it worked on all servers…..I bought PIA on recommend by LINUS WHAT a joke this company is turning out to be……of 38 servers i have logged or connected to NONE will allow you to connect to the NET i have written to them 3 x im about to pull the plug they are complete IDIOTS!!! The one that seems to get talked about alot is NORD……i only heard about express half as much when i would get feed back from others on thier choice so for now with the 3 yr 99.99 deal NORD is offering it looks to be great deal express is 99 for 15 months….just my 3 cents and 1/4

18. I find that if I want to watch everything I want to watch online, I have to use VPN and DNS proxy services. Neither one will work with every site.

26. Noticed in NordVPN, it actually allows 6 devices not 5. Just something I think you should of mentioned, but otherwise great video.

27. Another feature some of these vpn companies offer is they let you pay with gift card. I know P.I.A. does. just buy a target or Walmart gift card & use it to pay for the v.p.n. Another benefit of using a gift card is you can sign up completely anomalously. No way to track a gift card to you!!! You know if your a double agent like myself !? Ha! ; )

28. Hey TechGumbo, I have a few questions about VPN's. For a few years I've been interested in VPN's but l don't quite understand it, l trust you know about this;

    1. VPN's hide your activity and keep you anonymous, but does it prevent browsers like Chrome or websites like Facebook from collecting the same data? If I use a VPN that has a strict no logs policy, but then Google [may or may not] have a silent data collection built-in the browser that sends your activity to Google (Facebook and others do too), what does a VPN really protect you from besides hiding your IP address?

    2. This morning I received an email from Bitdefender announcing their new VPN service. Do you think they are good to be put in contention for this video?

32. I'm a Nord vpn user as well recently switched over to them from Private internet access. Reason why P.i.a. totally dropped the ball when it comes to Netflix & other streaming services!! In order to watch netflix with most v.p.n. you have too disconnect from their servers. TOTALLY NOT ACCEPTABLE!!! People need too know about this prior to choosing their v.p.n. Instead of finding out after you signing up! If not you will be chasing them around looking for a refund. Yeah Good Luck wit that.
