1. The European ITER has been given the vast amounts of money but has nothing to show for it after many decades of research.

   Billions have been wasted on it and there is no end in sight.

   The project was supposed produce limitless energy  from fusion of hydrogen/helium isotopes,etc.

   The researchers claim I.T.E.R. is simply to test plasma confinement for 90 seconds.
   That is the Mission Statement. 90 seconds.

   It has become a joke that fusion power will always be 30 years away …just like a mirage in the desert.

   Robert Bussard the inventor of the ITER torus concept admitted it was a
   dead end and yet this white elephant continues to be funded as nobody
   can admit that it is the wrong shape and will never work.

   After
   looking at it in detail I can declare with full confidence that it will
   NEVER work because of a fundamental flaw in the concept and it should be
   shut down.

17. this project is fantastic. I can see that giving a part of the project to each country will help that country raise its standards to current levels. This method is a way to bring the commonwealth of Europe to a higher standards. When Europe chooses to take on new challenges. It will be ready to become a powerhouse in the world community.

    Salt cooled liquid fuelled fission reactors are now being built for the price of coal power plants, with a fraction of the fuel costs.

    Yet Europe is spending billions on this science project that can never be price competitive with fission.

It is hard work, achieve nothing, but fantastic for creative imagination for fiction. the reason is simple. we have not released structure of atom to mankind. The current models are fiction. My grandfather was working with Max Planck and others on space and matter. after Max Planck experimental proof of black body radiate in discreet unit(photon). we were to release structure of photon, electron, nuclei and gravity. German scientist Einstein was signed up by Trojan project to undermine allied science when he was at Swiss patent office. He has achieved it fully so far. They gave him access to all the scientist’s work. Einstein presented Max Planck photo electric in his 1905 paper without knowing why electron is released by frequency and not amplitude. So my grandfather left Europe. The reason your fusion has been unsuccessful is simple. You do not know structure of matter, how and where is has formed or how the nuclei function and evolve.
