5. I'm gonna rub people the wrong way here but if you're trying to say that minimum wage should be a liveable wage then you're delusional – not directed at yo Nate, generalizing. Minimum wage jobs should not be someones career. Students should be taking these jobs. Adults should not be complaining that 7$/h or here in QC where I live its 12.50/h. Its not meant to be for someone supporting a family or kids. Its supposed to pay for college and university and be able to get a degree or something. You're not supposed to live of minimum wage.

    Jesus, people. Quit listing "washing windows" as something that will make 6 figures per year. The only way it does is if you scale up massively with employees, a fleet of trucks, etc. The competition is crazy. I did this for many years. Until you scale up massively like a franchise, you don't make anywhere near 6 figures. It's more like 10-20K per year, if you're lucky. High-rise window work is an ENTIRELY different animal. Home windows are different. Scalability is the biggest sticking point. Weather is a massive interruption: rain, winter-time! The only people touting window cleaning are people who know nothing about it. I do. I was a pro, I was fast, I am not afraid to hustle and talk to people… for all the good it did. It's ok for college kids and beer money, side gig stuff. Nothing like "6 figures".

20. The stock market has boosted my income significantly! As an investor who knows very little about trading i still make more than a lot of traders who have probably been in the market for over 5 years. I started out with $15k back in June 2019 and have so far made $34k in return. Like my Uncle would always say, it's not about how far but how well.

28. Set up a budget and a bunch of sinking funds. Selling my house and when my ex gives me my half I am going to save/invest so that I have an emergency fund and grow my wealth and security. You are teaching a very important lesson sir and I have great respect for you. Thank you for changing the way I see money and myself
