The lovers the dreamers and me.
I tried to make a version of this recently, and THANK YOU FOR LINKING THE ACTUAL TEA TYPE USED. I won’t be using whatever black tea mine is. Also totally forgot I owned a blender while I made it, I ended up doing this delicate procedure of brewing it with the milk butter and salt in a mason jar, securing the lid as hard as I could, and shaking the jar with oven mits for like five minutes. (Be really careful of you do this cause the liquid is still almost boiling, and MAKE SURE THE LID IS VERT SECURE) I think I’ll try the blender with the proper tea next time 😅
“The lovers, the dreamers, and me!” 🙂 I love your hidden words. 😊
Love cream of wheat or coco wheats
Mongolians make butter tea and cook with hot rocks and use the stomach of the sheep or whatever animal as a oven more or less. Love to watch other country's cuisine and there cooking
The Tibetan butter tea is a great remedy for high altitude sickness as well! 💗
Thanks a lot for uploading Tibetan food and beverage in your channel really appreciate that …..
I'm sitting here staring at that gorgeous range Emmie has, I'm sure it costs 6-10K USD. lol
As a Coloradoan, I was excited to see KuCha! They have such lovely teas of all sorts of varieties. They have amazing boba too
I love barley porrige with butter, perhaps next time I should make it with tea.
The tea reminds me of Bulletproof/butter coffee, which has the European butter and coffee. If you’re making actual Bulletproof coffee, I believe MCT oil is added, but I’ve made it with and without. It’s delicious.
Why not just use salted butter? I put salted butter in my chai tea and coffee.
I honestly can NOT believe u have gone sooo long without a Vitamix!!!!
I really want to try this
Thanks Emmy for always introducing me to something new!!! ❤️ The lovers, the dreamers & me.
Just read all about steric acid that is in butter and how healthy it is . The “Croissant Diet” people and “Fire in A Bottle Diet” reddit shared your video !! You are awesome !
What is the name of the melody you play at the beginning of this video! So familiar!
wok with sand.. nice
would try and only dry. not so much tea as a dairy (milk and butter) drink with salt. more like milk and melted butter flavored slightly with salt and tea. liking the roasted barley confection
Emmy…you are just Way Too Cute and so knowledgeable!! You make the items you share fun and interesting. I'm glad I stumbled across your videos!! I am now a Fan!!
Can you try Dandelion Pancakes?
In school we would pick the biggest dandelion heads we could find and then dip them in pancake batter and sometimes we would put chocolate chips or raisins in them. Btw I love you, Emmy 💕💕💕
I was having these terrible flashbacks from when I was a kid, back in the late 60’s, early 70’s. Something happened that caused coffee to be in short demand and the prices went way up. My adult cousin told my mom about barley coffee. Every week or two mom would roast barley on a cookie sheet in the oven. It was during the summer and I would wake up to this horrible smell that permeated the whole house. Roasted barley! It would make me want to throw up. I couldn’t stand the smell. Luckily, coffee came back to the store shelves at a reasonable price and I don’t think mom ever made barley coffee again. Thank goodness!
Very interesting! Now I want to try butter tea, too!
I just found out about your channel a few weeks ago, and watching you cook and listening to you explain is like a never ending sigh of relief. No loud screams or flashy extravaganza. Just pure fun culinary adventure joy. Thank you. 🙂
love to see tibetan food being showcased! i had a few tibetan friends in high school bc my small town had quite a few tibetan families but i’ve never really eaten their food bc its hard to find restaurants that make it 🙂
i’ve always been scrutinized for adding just a pinch of salt to my tea sometimes and i’m glad i’m not insane
I drink butter tea and coffee everyday, thank you other humans for your nourishing traditions.
Please start a an easy cakes series where you make easy cake recipes and try cake recipe hacks, a variety of mug cakes and microwave cakes etc. Or if not just cakes then variety of baked recipes made easy. Also one on homemade cream cheese.
You should also try Mongolian tea. It is salty. My boyfriend had me try it and more things from his culture as well! I'd love to see more Mongolian content too!
I feel like such a weirdo because I don't particularly like butter.
You should try the Turkish hot sand coffee! 🤗
Can you make paratha???
Emmy is the only person that makes me do a little smile every time I watch her videos.
Dear Emmy, If you ever get a chance to, please test Ruby Chocolate. Is it good or just a marketing scheme?
You always find or have suggested the most interesting recipes. I love the history and ingenuity of the peoples.
This is something I’ll definitely try. Great video as usual.
FRENCH KING CAKE!
Please do a French King Cake for Mardi Gras 2020!
I can just imagine how good that would taste after spending all day hiking up a mountain.
Isn't emmy lactose intolerant though? 😅
please try the ramdon/chapaguri dish from the movie parasite. 🙏🏼
Can you try homemade kefir or homemade kvass?
The lovers, the dreamers, and me!
People think it's weird that I put salt on certain things (salad, pizza, etc.) but it enhances the flavor of SO many things.
Wonder what this would taste like with brown butter.
Loved this one! Also, the way you roasted barley in sand is how you would make puffed rice in Bengal (and presumably other parts of India)! Would love to see a video of you making puffed rice at home!
Emmy, you need to see this sketch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vP8bVTxexk4
