the whole behaviour of mutalisks in sc1 is a feature-made bug. the way they clump together when one unit is far away is so unique.. it's a real shame there's so much splash in sc2 to counter these and force you to splitt them
This is great, I have lost to this several times now i can see how it is defended. cancel expo and get spines.
Back in SC1 Broodwar I used to make a supply depot wall with a bunker behind it and float a command center above them so they couldn’t target the supply depots. Was impossible to attack command past the wall until you destroyed the CC.
If one day i play against you I will indeed be hard, 10 on 10 !

Yeah they should not fix unit attack priorities. In SC1 even attacking workers had lower priority to other units so you can use them defensively even better. It was part of the game. You could defend for example 6 pool rush with one zealot and probes easy. It all comes to micro and that is why it is awsome :).
Thaaat's a bug… The game isn't accounting for the drone literally blocking it's target, which if it did would make the drone obviously the higher priority target. This is made clear when you ask yourself why can't they be shoved away like units that aren't on hold position? If they can't be shoved away then they are being aggressive just without attacking.

I mean, it's not a bug, though. Like, if you had any ranged unit and were attack moving with them, you'd probably want them to prioritize the things that are killing them, not like, a supply depot or something. RIP Zealots and Zerglings, though.

Lowko how it is that you don't mention any type of such cheese in your comparison. I'm really disappointed.

He honestly should have just killed your hatchery. You had well under 300 minerals, so that would be it. You'd have only the units you currently possessed to try and end the game, while he still had an income to try and wear down the few units you had left with.

That was crazy good. I didn't know hold position would do that. Man I need to better understand how attack priority works.
