15 پاسخ به “مدل های سریعتر با FredoGhost – پسوند جدید پروکسی برای SketchUp”

  1. What's unfortunate about FredoGhost is that it's not a true proxy creation tool – in terms of having an offline SketchUp file that the proxy references (such as how Enscape and V-Ray handle proxies). This means that they don't show up in either of those programs when you go to view/render.

  2. This worked well in Layout on a high poly SU Kitchen model with lots or imported DXF moulding details from Enkeboll and White River. Great plugin! A little fussy on getting used to it but with this type of work and high poly models in SU w VR its invaluable. DONATE TO FREDO!

  3. that Fredo is a flipping GENIUS! So many of Fredo's extensions are practical and useful for common tasks in Sketchup. great how to video.

  4. Thanks for bringing another great Fredo plug in review. Excited to get up and running. So, I'm always 80/20, and my first thought is can we pair Fredo Ghost with something like Component Finder by Flex Tools, and essentially build our own version of an assets library of render optimized proxies a la Enscape Assets style interface for quick population of render models? I think I'd use the poly reduction functionality of Transmutr or similar mesh simplifaction plug in to make very low but very recognizable, and easily placed proxies, and try that proxy route when building it. My concern is can this work–a swappable component… or would it have to be set up in model every time, which kind of kills this super optimized workflow I'm proposing? Thoughts?

  5. Hi Justin, Great videos, very helpful and easy to follow. I design wine cellars for a living using Sketchup & V-Ray (I'm new to V-Ray) and often have to fill my design with heavy polygon bottle models, this can slow the overall design down, makes rendering slow and vector layout drawings very time consuming. This FredoGhost extensions could be the answer I've been looking for, thank you.

  6. That Max Achkovsky has great models by the way. I like your videos, broad range of topics. Very clear basics. Sometimes I would like to see you go a little deeper into it.

  7. Thanks for your excellent video. This plugin would be a very handy plugin to complement TreblD designs. After selecting and arranging room modules on offer in TreblD housing modules, the potential client can then swop out the TreblD low-poly furniture in the rooms for more realistic furniture. So really fredoGhost would be used in reverse.

However, it does ignores component modules that are not selected, creating unique copies and the memory-saving advantage of components could be lost.
