Ok, hear me out:
This video is doing a terrible job of explaining a very real issue. There are a lot of places where hygiene is not like how it is in America. And you can't go buy disposable tampons at the drug store because of 100 reasons, one of which is a lack of understanding of periods. In these places, you are told by everyone you know to stay home on your period because it's believed you will spread disease (and to be fair, you could spread disease without the right hygiene products and practices).
I'm not sure how they think it will help to tweet about period stories, and donating loose tampons is just… How???
BUT please don't laugh off this serious issue. Also, if you want to donate disposable pads or tampons, give them to a food bank or shelter. In a full box. If you donate a random pad they WILL throw it away
I’m a guy and got this as an add wtf
OMG poor things. Who cares deal with it
There are only 2 genders, change my mind.
I don't fucking care. stop showing this ad in every fucking video!
Kill your self, your just making a problem that doesn't exist.
Feminists
There's no such thing as period shaming! There's about as much period shaming as shaming for any other bodily function that has to do with human bodily waste. Period blood is gross, and just like diarrhea, it's inappropriate subject to talk about in casual conversation. Have some class, and shut up!
1st off: as a girl, girls don't miss school on their period for "a lack of period education". iv'e missed school on my period, but i missed it because of my cramps, i know exactly how periods work along with mostly every girl who has one.
2nd off; it bothers me how they act like a girl having a period and not having pads/tampons is like the next world war 3. the world will fucking live if one girl doesn't have feminine products, plus, idk abt you guys, but my school has pads at the front office, so, its not like its a impossible task like world hunger or some shit
3rd off; how are you suppose to know if a girl is on her period if she doesn't tell you and there's no blood stains anywhere?? just a thought
and last but not least; welcome to 2018, where girls not having feminine products is a actual issue to some people
lol
How about you give them water instead.
OKAY So, period stigmatization is a topic of concern in India, because few household jobs like cooking and going to temple are restrained in some families, this is a good topic. BUT THE WAY YOU ARE DELIVERING SOLUTION TO this idea is CRINGY AS FUCK.
What is period shaming?
Shit. If you need to period shame, you might as well hold yourself back a few years. You haven't even experienced Sexual Health Education yet!
Don’t you know the nurse has pads and tampons🤔🤔🤔
Who the fuck wants to go to school 🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻this is bull !!!
First of all why do you think that someone wants your dutty tampon plus using a tampon isn’t going to give you an a
Saw this as an ad , had to track a down .
YOU GUYS ARE FUCKING RETARDS
Here’s a GREAT fix. Are you ready to solve ALL your problems? 3… 2… 1… SUCK IT UP BUTTERCUP!!!
DIY TAMPON AND PAD
STEP ONE: ROLL UP TOILET PAPER
AND THATS IT STEP TWO IS A PAD: USE TOILET PAPER…
The way they say Little By Little towards the end just sounds awful
As a a guy, I just don't care. I am completely serious.
Your luteal phase, higher basal body temperature, tidal wave of progesterone, secretory uterus and vagina are all and entirely none of my goddamned business.
I don't care if you skip classes or call in sick to work.
Just don't make your problem my problem. You do you.
So I would appreciate you keeping all of that your own discrete business and stop wearing it like a badge of suffering and honor.
It is not.
Women have their crosses to bear. And so do men.
The only difference is that it is women who think it's appropriate to incessantly and publicly complain about them.
Why?
Attention, sympathy, validation, and yet another opportunity to bash and blame men, and the deceased patriarchy. etc.
Just please stop infantilizing women.
0:50 what?? 0:54 what the actual heck. Sharing your story of you having your period? When i first saw this I thought it was going to be something about women rights and all those feminists stuff,
But it’s far worse than that
Girls
Period shaming isn’t a thing
Ps I’m not saying feminists are bad, just some go too far sometimes
