3. I was in Europe when this announcement happened. I still came back to my home USA two days after the deadline. Making a layover in Canada didn’t make a difference as us customs was present there, lol

It's normal. Calm down and keep an eye on what's being taken away from you rather than what they appear to be giving you or doing for you.
