3. I have never done a bonsai before. I have dealt with many plants ranging from herbs, to trees, to shrubs, to flowers to veggies over a period of 30 yrs and I have worked as an employee farming nursery as well.. YOU DO NOT TREAT ANY ROOT THAT WAY EVER NO MATTER HOW FORGIVING A PLANT VARIETY IS, THAT WAS BARBARIC! No telling how many people got root shock after seeing this "tutorial"

15. I have a jade bonsai, Im trying to get it to grow more branches and leafs to give it a more full look, so then I can prune it and shape it how I want…for now, I did a DIY swing decoration on my jade plants' slanted branch.

17. shouldn't you water it in. If you have the right soil (normally fully inorganic with akadama and pumice) you can almost never develop root rot. Otherwise you end up depriving it of water. Looked good though.

20. That soil contains way too much organic material for a succulent bonsai. Also, where's your root training? You can't just ravage the roots and shove them back in the pot. You have to do careful, considered root pruning so that you develop a decent radial root system and nebari. Please actually develop a respect for the ancient art of bonsai, and do some research, before you post about bonsai. Thanks.
