8. I built my PC in 2009 so it dying in 2020 due to a battery issue isn't too bad. Perhaps it's time for an upgrade but it still runs smoothly.

9. know old video but today i was really looking forward to use my brand new pc that i built, first i hit the power button and voila it was on and running even though i saw it was glowing red light inside when i checked so that can"t good a good sign. anyway after i had it on for less then a min it came to mind i totally forgot to plug in SATA power socket to my cd driver. and after i got it plugged it, tried to turn on it and nothing happens. what could be reason for this? tried turn off the on/off button on back of PSU but no luck yet.

15. So here is my story..All credits goes to you.
    My computer was not turning on.
    I removed hard drive, ram , dvd , plugged out in litterly everything but my problem didn't solve.
    I watched your video and removed this battery and inserted again ..
    My pc turned on..
    I will change it tomorrow.

17. 3 hours spent trying to resolve a dead pc and presto. Tried a new battery and runs.

18. Ahhhh, genius. I had already pulled the cover off and made sure nothing got jarred loose. But a simple battery replacement, which I had a spare in the junk drawer from when I replaced a dead key fob fixed my computer! I almost bought a new power supply.

23. I have the same computer but mine is the media edition. Mine wasn't coming on, so i took a can of compressed air and blew out whatever dust was in there and it come back on. Mine is the 2004 model

34. Thanks Carey googled my problem and you showed and fixed it. Never knew there was a battery

35. Nevermind. I fixed it. All i did was remove cmos and left the computer unplugged for 20 minutes. Then i proceeded to remove the power button connection labeled (power sw) and with flat head screw driver touched the connectors. And it booted up. Surprisingly. I tested it with the old KMS cmos battery i thought was dead.

    I guess ill just put the sony ones for later.

36. I replaced mine with some 2023 sony batteries. It started one time. Then i decided to unplug it today to move the pc to a new location. Now it wont boot again. Im frustrated. Im thinking its got to be the psu.
