فر را تا 300 درجه فارنهایت گرم کنید و یک تابه مربع 8 اینچی را آرد کنید.
در مخلوط کن مجهز به ضمیمه شلاق ، تخم مرغ ها را با سرعت متوسط ضرب کنید تا کرکی و زرد روشن شود. هر دو قند را اضافه کنید. مواد باقیمانده را اضافه کنید ، و مخلوط کنید تا ترکیب شوند.

Cooking temp and time are too low on these. Should be more like 325F for 50-60 minutes. Would also recommend using sweetened cocoa powder if you are making them for kids. The unsweetened stuff is too bitter. And use self rising flour. And you don’t need to sift anything or add anything in any order, that’s just Alton being OCD. Just dump everything into a big mixing bowl and blast it with an electric hand mixer with a beater attachment.

99.9% sure he uses the paddle attachment rather than the whisk if you use the whisk your going to have a bad time trying to get the batter out of the attachment

Alton Brown is the best, he taught me to how to cook back in his early Good Eats days. I would record his shows on old VHS, then use my kid's 13" box TV combo on the kitchen counter and pause, pause, pause for every step. Now I have a file on my DVR with about 175 of his shows, old and new. All time favorite is the one hour Thanksgiving show back in the day. I still use that brine recipe every year and the entire family loves it!

Using melted chocolate instead of or as well as cocoa makes it much chewier
Food Network is just using a lot of old material, and a bit of new material to hype the new series… I do find it amusing how many people I see railing against this. They are good episodes. (or in this case good clips)
As for this recipe. it is excellent, though I prefer to add some of those 3/4 inch diameter chocolate disks scattered after pouring half the batter, then covering with the remaining batter and topping with a caramel sauce.
Soooooooo …. I just made these a few hours ago, and tried one. Not my favorite. While they are moist and dense, they're pretty bitter. I don't know if it's because there's too much cocoa powder, but yeah, won't be making these again

However, I would replace all of the ingredients, since I am allergic to them.
Carob powder instead of cocoa
Coconut oil or MCT oil instead of butter
100% real Maple syrup, honey, or a touch of molasses instead of sugar
Cassava flour, or mashed black beans instead of wheat flour
Organic Banana, prune purée, or applesauce instead of the eggs.
Vanilla
Is the 300° temp correct? Seems kinda low..
This was posted less than a week ago. Alton has already updated his brownie recipe on Good Eats Reloaded… Why not use the new recipe?
Didn't make a gnash, didn't cream the eggs and sugar for at least 10 mins, didn't add vanilla, didn't add choc chunks into the mix. Not "The Best", nor do I think it's the best of Mr Alton himself. It is however a recipe that is quick and uncomplicated.

Also, make sure your old pizza cutter is sharp enough before attempting to slice through. If not, a semi sharp-sharp chef's knife can suffice.

He left out 1 ingredient….. 1/4 ounce high grade cannabis. I suggest making 2 batches. 1 with and 1 without, because you WILL get the munchies and you WILL eat more brownies.

I found that it was easier to mix the butter and the cocoa together seperately before adding it to the other ingredients. Then I added a bag of Andes mint baking chips 😀

I used Alton's recipe to make a very "special" batch of brownies.
Needless to say. Everybody was extremely "groovy".
I will be making brownies like that because I'm not a fan of the dried ones, I like brownies moist and chewy, served with milk.
I love how he talks about the scraper conforming to the bowl to get every last bit out, and then he leaves a bunch of batter in the bowl, lol.
I used 16 quail eggs because that is what I raise, THIS IS AN AWESOME RECIPE!!
