Just a silly question for you…..What is the first idea that comes to your mind, what is your spontaneous, out-of-the-shelf response when you come across a conspiranoic who is convinced that Armstrong, Aldrin & Collins were just actors on a hidden Hollywood set?. Neil Armstrong always said that he had met thousands of "denialists" in every single country!!!. You can upload hundreds of videos explaining the Apollo Guidance Computer or whatever the technology inside the most amazing rocket ever built…..they won´t believe it. They´ll have a counter argument to whatever explanation you may give to them. Yes, I know it´s a very conventional question, but your answer will be interesting to know. Thanks!!!!.

11. People are smug when talking about the Apollo guidance computer, but this computer would have been an advanced one for its time. In 1969, most computers used switches for input and paper, instead of a monitor, for output.

    There is a minor difference with the V37 command.
    Instead of typing V37N31E, the command was to be entered as follows "V37E31E" so the AGC knows you wanted to change a Major Mode.

21. One detail has always bothered me about the Apollo CSM. When photographed on the Launch Pad or during the Launch, the CSM is WHITE. However, when photographed from the LEM during docking, the CSM is mirror-shiny SILVER! How did the CSM change color in-flight? Or is this another piece of evidence that the spacecraft that was launched, never went to the moon????

36. yeah old Jim lovell had a run in with that thing while in transit i especially love his reaction to it when it happened.used p entry that reset the computer to prelaunch start.

38. Amy have you been following the guys who brought a agc back up and running?. In fact one kid remade the original apollo core memory in an fpga (for testing the agc in a few days i hear) it ran above spec in true and even timing . The project is phenomenal
