people always want to be in this constant state of happyness. They focus so much on all the positive things, promoting the positive. Achieving the positive. But that is not balanced. Stupid people are happy. Do you want to be stupid? Is stupid negative or positive. It is you who decides. So there is no positive and negative apart from what you percieve them to be one or the other. But reality is that which is still there once you stop believing in it. It is both positive and negative. You can certainly train your brain to enjoy things more based on how you think about the task. But you are missing half your potential if you do not train your brain to enjoy the things you dislike doing or understand that the positive things for you maybe negative to someone else. When you start to see the world without right or wrong, negative and positive, you start to see the world for what it really is. Thats when you can actually make a change. Shape your world. You can not imagine a world beyond the choices you haven't made yet. So you must accept the negative. Embrace it. Just as you would the positive. One is not more important then the other. If you want to protect your family then seeing the good in everyone is counter productive. Being overly positive is just as dangerous as being overly negative.
Joe is great in his field and because he is a scientist he thinks that what he knows about thoughts is the end of it. It isn't. He and most other scientists, except for those few who can leave the normal egress of scientific measurement, have not gone back to the most known root of thoughts; our ancestors and our cellular structure. This is not new knowledge except for those who it is new for. It's been around for awhile. Check out Dr. Candace Pert's book: The Molecules of Emotion and The Sedona Method; well the list is long. Just don't think his the first or the only to be saying these things. He isn't. It's just that people are now ready to hear it so you think it is new. Nope. Been around for awhile. You/one can track those memories back and completely clear them. Much easier than trying to change your thoughts all the time. When you clear those thoughts by going back to your past and clearing them…you don't have to focus on changing your thoughts because they will automatically change when the emotions are released.

Master your mind and you master your life, I was diagnosed with ptsd and I lived in the same bad mood and negative feelings for a long time. When I started meditating daily and practising semen retention I felt my life shift in ways that I used to never believe it could. Willpower is needed to break bad habits when it comes to thoughts, emotions, and actions so the best way to change your life for the better is to strengthen your willpower then use it to break those bad habits and replace them with good and constructive ones. For me cold showers, semen retention, meditation, intermittent fasting, etc are some of the best ways to completely change your life for the better.
