  3. I have hair very similar and have good success with a different technique. It requires less work with the blow dryer. I dry my hair like this video shows but stick large velcro rollers in the crown and use a flat iron on the rest of my hair. When I'm done, take the rollers out, tease the crown for a little height and spray. The main difference is I have a little more volume in my hair than this tutorial shows. I'm basically doing with the flatiron what she's doing with the round brush. Don't set the heat too high and use a thermal protector.

Every time I go to a Salon, they recommend something different. My hair is extremely dry and static-like. Apparently, these products are not working for me.
