  9. Sorry Mark, I hate to be the bearer of bad news friend but the majority of your conclusions are wrong. If you take the time to investigate the origins of the games and the functions they serve… Well no let's say the roles they play I think you'll find a much deeper and darker master plan lurking behind the lay out of the rides, games, and even the food stands. A bit of advice from a 3rd generation concessionaire if I may sir. A theme park is NOT a carnival, they kind of look the same but are very very different. A couple of good places to start would be the Outdoor Amusement Business Association's convention held in Las Vegas every year, or the International Independent Showmen's Association, The American clubhouse, museum, retirement homes, and trade shows are all in Gibsonton, Florida. Your best importunity to see first hand the working and intent of the games would be at the IISA trade show end of January. Now my challange sir.     There is so many games like the pick a duck out the pond
    There are 100 ducks
    90 with the letter s=small price
    6 with the letter m =medium price
    And only 4 with the letter L =large price i can give you all the tricks of every carnival game

  15. To be fair, any business has to charge more than what they paid for items in order to make a profit. Sometimes they charge way too much, but no one could ever realistically expect a business to charge customers what they paid. At best, they'd break even and more likely they'd lose money due to operating costs.
