CORRECTION: The price listed for the SSD in the on screen break down is incorrect. We got the SSD for $49.99 and price matched the PSU at $49.99 bringing the total to $612. It also important to note that the SSD has gone up to $55 since making this video. These price swings are somewhat normal during these tariff debates/wars.
We set out to build the FASTEST budget minded PC that we could… and with the criteria of NOT wasting money but also not going as cheap as possible, this is what we came up with.

Please see the description… there was an on screen mistake regarding the pricing of the SSD. $28 was for the lower capacity drive. We actually spent $49 for the 500GB ssd. We also price matched the PSU and saved $5 bringing the total to $612. Sorry about that.
pfft! I'm disabled and on a fixed budget. I could never afford 660 dollars. I can't even afford 60 dollars!
This is almost exactly the build I'm putting together lol. Ryzen 5 2600, RX 570 GPU, 16gb RAM.
Probably a different mobo and psu but still, same processor and gpu combo.
When will 1440p be the new 1080p
Would this be able to handle live stream gaming, what would I need to add? Thanks
Interesting.
Though i'd rather not buy a GPU than having to go with powercolor.
damn if i built the same pc like in the video in indonesian rupiah it cost arround 10 grand for that
gonna stick with i3 3210 no vga for more 3 years for that
With all due respect, and I appreciate what you do for budget builds, please stop using games like doom. The FPS is high because of vulkan, and is not an indication of what you'd get across a broad variety of other, MUCH more popular titles.
You've helped me with watercooling a bunch Jay (i.e. obsess over it), thanks for that lol
Man about early next year, I'm going to go back to microcenter and buy my parts and try and build this PC. I feel so out of touch now since 2008 when I knew what goes where. Looking at these videos to brush back up.
Did you have to also get a fan splitter?
GUYS FOR YOU CANADIANS this PC costs only $880cad this is an amazing PC build
This is the start 3:08
Omg I feel so special I was the 1 millionth viewer
Can someone help me on this build. The GPU in 8gb is no longer available and if I can get this card Sapphire Technology Radeon PULSE RX 570 4GB GDDR5 Video Card for $109 and only 4gb should I? Thanks for any replies or could someone recommend another GPU from Micro Center under $200.
Still cant afford , cause my mom got a hard time. But ill work and do my best to buy one. My reaction is marked
Lol thats my pc 😂😂
I love the hell out of this show and i dont even have a computer
Thanks for this video. This pretty much solidified my choices for my build. 2600 for sure now. Might go for 590 but, as you showed 570 is pretty good on its own.
Again, thanks for the level headed guide and tips.
While not the subject of your video I've always wondered why Microcenter doesn't expand their store network more.
I drive 3+ hours one way because the deals are so good lol
650$ pc is a low budget 😂😂
What's so funny about these so called "cheap" builds is that many of these YouTube celebs don't include price of Windows 10. That alone will boost your expense at least $120 or so dollars. Hardware only prices really isn't a full indicator of what your out of pocket expenses will be. This wasn't meant to flame. I'm just keeping it real.
some one can tell me this pc specs
dont buy gigabyte motherboard
Dirt Rally 2.0 has been out since February just so you know.

"This is the best time to be a PC gamer"
Why when I started college 🙁
Would this be able to run cyberpunk 2077 fairly well?
How do i fix a monitor that keeps on making a black screen?
Say, thanks for the Amazon link!!! 😐
+130$ for an OS, we the people do not get ours for free/discounted x(
Nice I built basically the same rig 6 months ago using an older case (Silverstone Raven 2)and used 2x nvme drivers and used all Msi hardware 😉 and game daily @ 1080p 60fps in opensuse tumbleweed 64 with KDE Plasma desktop 😁
I know more cores are better for simulation and CAD work but should one go with AMD rysen 3000 or rysen 2000 for such applications..
Would this build be compatible with ark survival evolved, it's a really huge game
Me remembering this is usd and not CAD
I have a Ryzen 5 1600 so even with the price drops on the 2000 series, that might not be a big enough jump in performance compared to what I would get from going to a 3600 but then with my b450 board , the bios updates haven't been perfect yet for the new cpus.
im looking to upgrade my computer i have a SFF Dell computer it works great but the power supply is only 240 watts and on certian games it fries and the 240 is the only power supply that fits in it so i was going to maybe get something different..ive always been told get an intel so ive always had intel and my current on is intel !3 2600 or something….but the guy at the computer store was telling me about a Ryzen 3 ive never used AMD and was wondering if it would be any good at all or if id get the same performance formt eh Ryzen 3 . or what is somebodys thoughts on it? i play a game called scum and 240 watts isnt enough it fries my power supply….so id be upgrading just for teh purpose of more power coincidentally i have the same power supply he bought in this video….see i have a Dell and only Dell works with Dell so i cant really transfer whats in my SFF into a bigger case i would need new stuff they said…but anyway was wondering what teh comparism to a RYZEN 3 and intel i3 are
The Truck Exhaust (aka Freedom) is fine, the Sound Dampening (aka American Engineering) on the other hand …
Can you give me this build. 😊
Do a cheap build of used parts vs new parts like this one.
A quick question right now there are no proper motherboard under 100$ to support ryzen 3rd gen right out of box. I am planning for a complete new build with ryzen 3rdgen I am getting confused whether to wait for few months for new motherboard under $100 or shall I go with x570 gigabyte elite
30 bucks for a shirt with just 1 logo wow
