  1. In the old old days they didn't want the sun beating in because it faded the natural fabrics on the furniture and carpets . Plus, no air conditioning back then. Houses were built solid and they really stayed cool. I like a bench for watching the kids, dog, or writing poetry.

  10. Great Details.. Pay attention.. My neighbor needs my help.. Yeah eh.. Keeping your Christmas lights up all year is TACKY.. . I don't know what the real estate agent did other than stick a sign in the front yard.. But I don't think she would take my advice, as much as I would love to offer it…

  17. Great advice! I have found that the "staging" of my clients' homes has been paramount! It's a wonder what fresh paint (not always neutral either), new fixtures, & minimization of clutter can do. People DO buy on emotion & essentially buy "a seller's style." How many times have you walked into a "vanilla" home that left you with no emotion? A well staged, stylish home will sell over a dull, outdated home any day! I will post a few before/after photos on my channel of what paint has done.
