  5. Just came across this. Unrecognisable from when I was an undergraduate at York studying Computer Science in the late 80's in, what was then, the "new Comp Sci building". The facilities look fantastic now and they weren't bad back then either.

  9. I was doing FM as well as IT, Psych, and normal Maths… I decided as we only needed 3 A levels I gave up FM to study others more and it paid off!! My advice is ditch it too!

  10. I actually ended up with AAC but they let me in anyway so it's all good! Course is tough though so be prepared to put time in mate!

  11. Pretty good tbh. I didn't know any prog languages, but a member of staff just asks you Qs about solving problems and I just used some maths knowledge to try and figure it out. Prob heard it before but remember they don't need a certain answer, just to see that you have a brain that can logically work through problems – so don't dry up and go silent, just say something coherent and expand on it… you will defo get the offer…. then the prob is GETTING the GRADES! Sucks about AAA, I needed AAB:p
