Hey @ChrisFix! I just want to say thanks SO MUCH for your videos! I'm an 18 year old girl who knows absolutely nothing about cars and I've always been too scared to buy one, but with your videos I just got an amazing deal on my first car and it's in great shape! You also helped me prove my boyfriend wrong haha because I changed some brake pads, rotors, and did an oil change all by myself which was the coolest thing ever! So keep doing what you do because it's helping millions!! 🙂
definitely costs more than $30
You forgot a very important step. It is important to twist the copper whires clockwise or anti-clockwise at the end where you have taken off the insolation. If you dont do that, then the copper whire will oxidise over the years, and in 5-10 years, the oxidized layer will fukction as an isolation layer, if you run a lot of amps, the point where you connected the wires will get hot, and can in some cases result in a fire. In the case of the LED lights, a fire will never happen, because LED does not draw enough power.
Oke nos bottle i see
Have you checked if both switches can handle the amps? There's a big question mark on the reed switch/magnetic one since those are designed to switch very low loads.
Does this work as LED underglow lights as well
Is it possible to just use a different battery and place and connect I in the bed?
Chris i cant beleive what person would dislike ure vids. I am shocked becuase ure vids are the best
Thanks Chris for another great video. I do have a truck, you just gave me a great idea. But how would you wire a RGB led strip. Would you solder the RGB works together than follow through with this vid??? But again Chris thank you so much. I’ve been following you for about 3 years and I live all of your vids. Mahalo and Aloha.
I think the nos would be in the del sol
Can you put the lights under the car
Im 12 and cant stop watching these videos because they re so entertaining cant wait to grow up and buy my first car like a supra mk4,Nissan s15,240sx. And turn it to a drift car
i saw a nos kit. re you going to install nos into your drift car
quick question, why do you have a nitrous in your Mazda pickup
Hey @Chrisfix question could you run the the wires on the side of the vehicle where battery is. Or is it better to do it the way you did just wondering
1. Always love your videos!
2. love the shrink tubes on the helping hands!
3. Does it matter if the fuse goes near the battery, or closer to the lighting?
Your tape vs Flex tape
Chisfix you help us all in the future
my schematic cx
Your video are helpful they learn a lot good job
this guy can make a 12 minute video on soldering
next video:100 ways to make good soapy wooder. time 3 hours

love ur vids bro!! keep up the good work
Chris Fix? Na it’s Chris Upgrade
Hi ChrisFix I am a big fan of your channel but can I suggest a lug on your earth as well it will last a bit longer.
Hey chris what tires are on the b3000?
I'd add a led light dimmer, the light can be to sharp at night, this way you can controll the output. You can even remote controll it if you want to.
I Always Love Chris Fixing Cars
OR… just have a flashlight. easy!
Americans say "solder" in such a weird way. The rest of the world just pronounces it like "sold" + "er". I can't even figure out what sound Americans are making when they pronounce it. It's like some foreign language sound that doesn't exist in english. It's almost like "sorder" but not quite. Love your channel by the way! It's great how you explain exactly how to do things. I just subscribed as I learn't more watching two videos here than in months of watching other car channels!
My dad put a light in his trunk and he connected it to the dome light
man should have made it rgb lights
I never connect anything directly to battery and running cables outside – that's a bad practice in my opinion and looks bad. I always use some internal connector to get some current and run the cable inside car hidden under stock plastics – that makes installation very professional and not visible, and also well protected.
fly: touches car
chrisfix: YES NEW VIDEO
wait he always says if your working with wires always disconnect the ground
Sodder, hmm sounds interesting, we pronounce it as solder in Australia ahah.
Never heard of a uni-bit drill bit called a “Christmas Tree” bit lol, such an accurate description of them though haha
Chris, your videos are great, but can I suggest a couple of changes for your next install. No1 I would have gone for black backed LEDs that way they wouldn't be so noticeable on the plastic bed. and 2. there is a live wire in the light loom, you could have spliced into that with the fuse holder.
Otherwise it looks awesome. Cheers.
Tbh I don’t think I would ever personally do this ever, but who doesn’t like to watch @chrisfix work on something 😂
Finally we have found his akelleus heel, application of grease
@ChrisFix eres una verga vato💯💯
I like how clean and neat Chris does his work. Unlike MCM, messy installations.
The best thing to do is to connect the switches to the positive cable from the battery instead of connecting it to the ground cable, because if you need to work on it, if it for example breaks, you may think the power is off, but if you accidentally touch the positive cable you become the ground and the electricity goes through you istead of the ground because the ground connection is switched off.
Bro I send u pictures of this a while back of my cars on ig and u never replied
The stereotype of your your comments
1: “hold my soopy wooder”
2: anything breaks “hey guys, ChrisFix here
3: Next video repair with a food item
I hope this gets featured, I’m 13 and I love automotive engineering, love your videos man.
Looks good, but there should be a voltage regulator or LED driver installed between the battery and LEDs as the voltage in a vehicle can go way past 12v and will burn out the LEDs prematurely. They're cheap and make sure the LEDs only ever see 12v. Also you can buy the LED strips with a black PCB instead of white, so they blend in better.
Thank you for being awesome! I can’t wait to do this!
why dont you take one of the spare terminal from the fuse box and use a simple fuse? way better than tighting straight to battery
You are one of my entertainers , I watch your videos when I was stressed or bored.
Another awsome video! Yoy very well deserve your fame ^^
I have a car with no interior back light. Only the normal front interior light near the mirror. As I have kids, they often need light back there, to read or to play.
I wonder how I could install a aftermarket light for them. Thanks!
Love you!
