7. What challenge or problem does this solve exactly? I’m very confused what the point of the garment is.

   Recycling corpses will not be necessary on Mars either, resources will be tight, but the ‘recycling’ process will likely be more energy intensive than its worth. Plus, humans are mostly carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen, elements which are already abundant in the Martian soil and atmosphere. Plus, if you’ve just lost someone you love you wouldn’t want to do that.

8. Don’t you need bacteria for composting and decomposition of organic matter?
   Have the Mars bacteria been examined? Are you planning to use the earth microbes?
   Infecting other planets? Aren’t we as species going to be perceived as a mold in a jam jar?

12. I think it's stupid, it's more important to just return the body into the ground, all these clothes and rituals etc etc is just a waste of time. Time and resources would be ten times more valuable, and this would be wasting them.

    This is what happens when women are over encouraged and pandered to, in a meaningless, largely futile attempt to get more women interested. The women who actually really are genuinely interested will make it thier business to learn and fight with the men to prove their worth. For the past three decades, but the last ten years in particular this has become virtually pathological. The seemingly strange need to get people who are not interested, interested in something they are not. Or only superficially when offered benefits, bursaries and a distinct leg up. It simply throws shade on and devalues those genuine women who strove to be their best, and didn't receive or need a leg up.
