11. Every time i turn on " automatically detect setting" and saved it, the setting would just freeze and close by itself with saving. I don't know anymore… Is it because of windows update? Really, my internet would just do "request timed out" and its bugging me

17. In the proxy tab I can't enable the automatically detect settings. I enable it, hit save, but when I close the window it defaults back to being off.

27. Brilliant, I am I.T Tech feel like an Idiot I was working on clients Laptop could not connect to my Router wireless or Ethernet, tried every thing so thought. I never considered that Client had set their own fixed ip address , but once I set it to obtain automatically I was away , big thank you !

34. It actually worked for me!! My fix was "Start Menu", "Settings", Network and Internet" and I turned OFF "Allow VPN over metered networks"

39. Went online, ran the network netsh commanl, did other diagnostics and discovered mail.Ru changed my IP address settings even after using malwarebytes to remove it. Set my DNS to automatically detect and I'm back online. Thank you very much.
