8. So weird that Mr. Ruggiero went through this entire 20 minute video about airport design, and didn't once mention the airport his firm designed that has won Best Airport in North America for 6 years running, which models a significant portion of the design features he mentions here.

9. So essentially, people like me are the reason they're spending billions of dollars redesigning the terminal.

13. I find that not mentioning the immigration area is wrong. It has some of the longest queues in an airport. After a long flight, no one wants to be stuck waiting for 45 minutes to two hours in a space that is not fit for purpose.

14. This man is such a blessing via his remaking the garbage dump/ root canal experience that was LGA,
    that I almost wish the USA had a ridiculous monarchy like the UK
    ….so he could be knighted

17. Baggage reclaim should be a reverse of check in. An employee gives you your bag. No jostling for your bag. No risk of someone staging your bag. No mistaken identity

20. The one main thing that American airports are missing and what to me is a missed opportunity here are glass jetways. As an avgeek I'm a bit biased (I always want the best view of the plane possible) but I think that even for the general public it creates a feeling of openness and eliminates the dark windowless tunnel feel.

21. I have to say the new design will be beautiful, these walkways will be great for kids to look at the airplanes, etc. I would suggest having an area with a small kids park so they can play, watch the airplanes while we wait!
