I tried this today. I was against a yasuo and I ended up with like 0/10. Enemy kept chasing me but my team was flaming me cause the yasuo was farming very well…
In lower elos youre gonna get camped by the jungler and the enemy top laner wil not cs and will just go and fight you in between turrets, this is what hurts most proxy top laners i main top and i proxy with every chance i get and im in gold 2 and i still see people not give a shit about cs they only care about straight upbrawling with you so umless you knoe what your doing you should never proxy and btw always bring telepprt you dont need the ignite cause youre not going to be fighting just farming and ignite is only for the kill-pressure i hope my comment helped you guys

people that say there is no strategy, the idea is that singed pushes waves faster and stops the enemy waves hitting friendly waves, so the friendly wave pushes to tower. this does 2 things, makes it harder for enemy top laner to CS and also puts damage on the tower. the benefit of the jungler camping top in high elo also means that botlane and midlane can push hard and have little fear of enemy jungler ganking, because of the proxying of waves. also the positions that he runs are so tempting to attack, so the junglers chase…plus he has so much fun
It's fun. There's no strategy at all in proxy singed.
This strategy would never work on lower elos. while you are getting their jungle pressure your team would just jerk off in lane and not do shit.

Just like the purple team on the stream you failed to see beyond the "fun" part of a proxy singed. Did you notice that by proxy-ing : 1. Vlad's forced to stay on top at least as long as Singed's alive, else purple'll lost the outer tower sooner than it 's supposed to, without even doing anything mind you; 2. The jungler, instead of keeping pressure on mid and bot, were busy chasing a champion, that has literally no gold reward when killed, which in return gave mid+bot easier lane, 3. Singed farm
I'd have a little bit more of an argument if he was playing a normal instead of a ranked game, but they still won. I'm not saying that it's necessarily right, but it worked in this case.
People are so uptight when it comes to League, but honestly, it's still a game and game's are made to be enjoyed. This guy's having fun doing his own thing in a game. So what if he's dying? He's having fun.
