  12. I'm in favour of stopping the conditions that cause mass migration in the first place, whilst temporarily accepting immigrants from third world and war torn countries. It's all very well stating "we need enough distance" and "we don't want all of Africa in Europe", but is the west even bothering to find ways to give foreign aid to non corrupt hands, increasing what we can give in the long run?(this may involve forcing corruption out via military means as a last resort) No, because we're always promoting economic growth (at the expense of the planet and/ or poor countries.) It's so hypocritical to say "they need to sort out their own problems of corruption, whilst countries like the UK have 4 times the average pro-ca-pita assets of the world. And no, I don't understand this destructive premature and one dimensional "let's close our borders now" mentality.
