LIGHTSPEED:
Brilliant, blue flames as far as the eye can see. Engulfing everything in their path, both friend and foe.
A harsh price to pay, but necessary nonetheless. The cruelty of the enemy force knows no bounds, and their numbers are vastly superior to the soldiers of the Jelly Empire – how much longer could the castle possibly hold out against such a relentless siege?
Shedding a single tear, the Phoenix locks eyes with the Warrior of Wubstep. No words need to be spoken; the torment and anger on his face speak loudly enough. The chaos of the attack may have subsided for now, but this is no victory. This is not the end.
A nightmarish screech shatters the moment of silence, bringing the attention of the heroes to the clouds above their heads. They watch in horror as the skies begin to redden, and demonic, winged creatures become visible on the horizon. Tattered, rotten wings and orange eyes, glowing as bright as the hellfire burning inside their soul. Only one thing is certain: these are not allies.
Without hesitation, the Phoenix unfurls its wings and takes to the sky. Faster than light itself, it races towards the creatures. In a blinding flash of flames and talons two of the beasts fall, plummeting to the ground beneath them. But for every one slain, two more immediately take its place. This battle is futile.

Changing its course, the Phoenix veers straight up towards the clouds, letting out a deafening cry as it breaches the planet’s atmosphere. If the kingdom is to be saved, an army is needed.
